Conventional Loan Question: When a borrower has a bankruptcy and
a foreclosure, what event is used to
determine the waiting period?

· Conventional,bankruptcy,foreclosure

If a mortgage was discharged through a bankruptcy (and
documented by the lender), the bankruptcy waiting periods
may be applied. Otherwise, the greater of the bankruptcy or
foreclosure waiting periods must be applied.

Hope that helps. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions at 949.667.2887 or info@hightouchlending.com.
